Patchwork Rugs : Patchwork rugs are made of pieces of different handmade rugs that are cut and sewn together. The art of these rugs comes from ancient times. The final surface of the rug can be made up of many different patterns, geometric shapes, people, animals, etc. Recently, Patchwork has been widely disseminated as it is considered a new and modern art form.

Classic rugs: Rugs that are woven in urban centres in fixed workshops and looms(as opposed to nomads). Their designs are first done on paper by rug designers. These designs are strictly conducted by the weaver during the manufacturing. Even in these rugs, though there may be slight variations in weaving.
